For apple instal UltraGoodness 212/23/2023 It really feels like Samsung has nailed just about everything they have been refining since the first iteration. The new form factor kind of forces you to re-think how you use your phone on a daily basis and it's a lot of fun to play with. I've never used a pop socket, but one might help if you're concerned about it being awkward to hold. In fact, I was reading an article online this morning and stopped just to marvel at how cool this whole thing is and how much fun it is to use, especially after years of traditional phones. Using the main screen didn't take much time to get used to. I wouldn't say it's a fragile phone by any means, but it probably requires a little more TLC than your average slab phone. A case with a hinge guard seems like too much to me. I've been using the official Samsung S-pen/kickstand case and a simple Ringke case. As of right now, I probably use the cover and folding screens at a 50/50 ratio.ĭepending on your daily use, a case isn't necessary, but I'd recommend it. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but again: it does feel small. It's fine for firing off a quick message or scrolling through social media, though. Feels more like typing on an older iPhone from a size perspective. Typing is a little cramped so I prefer to use the main screen (which I'm doing now). The cover screen still feels a little small/narrow to me, but that's mainly coming from a really big phone. I also have big hands (just as a frame of reference). Had several Notes before this, so I'm used to a big phone. Z Fold 4 owner here, so I've had it for an couple of weeks.
